AIP Journals

AIP is a 501(c)(3) membership corporation of ten physical sciences societies serving a combined membership of more than 135,000 scientists, engineers and students. Representing the spectrum of the physical sciences, AIP's ten Member Societies are the backbone of the Institute. AIP supports them with professional services, additional benefits for their members, and competitively-priced benefits to their employees upon request. Its 10 societies also include Acoustical Society of America (ASA), American Physical Society (APS) & American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) and others.
Besides these AIP also has affiliated societies. An AIP Affiliated Society is any local, regional, or national organization interested in physics and allied sciences. Its affiliated societies includes American Association for the Advancement Section of Physics (AAAS), American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Materials Research Society (MRS) etc.
