Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund Scholarships 2024 is an initiative of the Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fund (JNMF) to support students registered or admitted for a Ph.D. degree at a recognised university or institution in India. The scholarship aims to support Ph.D. studies in India for Indian nationals and nationals of other Asian countries. Under this scholarship, applicants can choose any one of the following areas of specialisation:

• Indian History and Civilization
• Sociology
• Comparative Studies in Religion and Culture
• Economics
• Ecology and Environment

The selected students will receive a monthly maintenance allowance of ₹18,000, which covers tuition fees. They will also receive an annual contingent allowance of ₹15,000 for study tours within India, purchasing books and stationery.
