We are happy to inform you that the Innovation Cell of the Ministry of Education invited IIT Mandi to showcase Robotics and Drone products at the 3rd anniversary of the NEP (National Education Policy) celebration in the presence of the honorable Prime Minister of India at Pragati Maidan, Delhi on the 29th and 30th July 2023. Ministry of Education selected SIMHATEL (A startup company by Dr Amit Shukla, Chairperson, Centre of AI and Robotics, CAIR@IITMandi) to present NCM (Non-Contact Condition Monitoring) technology for the inspection of buried structures like oil/gas pipelines as one of the technologies to showcase to the PM of India. Along with NCM technology, the team also showcased AdapID, a cyber security solution from their other startup company, Deep Algorithms. They also showcased Brain-wave controlled Wheel Chair for patients, which can be navigated in a mapped area just by their brain thinking captured by EEG signals. The team presented these three technologies to PM Shri Narendra Modi and Minister of Education Shri Dharmendra Pradhan ji. Various other dignitaries and directors of IITs and chairman of AICTE and the PMO advisor were also briefed about these three technologies at the NEP event.
