It is a matter of great pride and immense pleasure to share with you that the Institute has recently inaugurated its office at the Alumni Centre for all Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) in Bengaluru on September 9, 2023, along with other IITs. This centre will undoubtedly play a crucial role in fostering collaboration, innovation, and entrepreneurship among IIT alumni, students and corporations. Inauguration: It was inaugurated by Prof. Ashok Misra, President of IIT Alumni Centre Bangalore (IITACB), and was attended by the stakeholders/representatives from various IITs and corporate heads of various companies (like Shri Nandan Nilekani, Shri Kris Gopalakrishnan and Shri S. Narayanmurthy). From IIT Mandi, a delegation including Prof. Laxmidhar Behera, Director-IIT Mandi along with Prof. Chayan Kanti Nandi, Dean Resource Generation and Alumni Relations (DORA), Dr. Stavasheel Powar, Associate Dean Sponsored Research and Industrial Consultancy (SRIC) & International Relations (IR), Retd. AVM Pranay Sinha, Strategic Advisor at IIT Mandi and Mr. Chamudeshwar Nadh, Alumnus and Secretary of the Banglore Alumni Chapter of IIT Mandi attended the event.
